“The coordinated efforts of Law Enforcement throughout the Super Bowl weekend have been effective in reducing the impact of impaired driving by identifying drivers that did not make a winning decision," Dutchess County STOP-DWI Coordinator William C. Johnson said in a statement. "Those who were apprehended will experience game changing consequences because an impaired driving conviction produces no winners. The message is clear, have a plan to get home safely before the party, and if you’re impaired don’t get behind the wheel. It’s simply not worth the risk.”

Members of the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office, New York State Police, Town of Poughkeepsie Police Department, Town of Hyde Park Police Department, Town of East Fishkill Police Department, City of Poughkeepsie Police Department, Village of Wappingers Falls Police Department, Village of Red Hook Police Department and Village of Millerton Police Department all assisted in the crackdown.
