Man Caught With Cocaine At Jefferson Valley Mall, Police Say

A 30-year-old Danbury resident was arrested and charged on April 5 after police found he possessed cocaine while in the Jefferson Valley Mall parking lot.

Anthony Scarfone was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the seventh degree, a Class A misdemeanor.

Police said they observed drug activity inside a vehicle. Police approached the vehicle and further investigation revealed Scarfone possessed cocaine.

Scarfone was released on $200 cash bail and is due back in Yorktown Justice Court on May 4 at 6 p.m.
