Mother, Son Suffer Injuries In Three-Alarm Poughkeepsie Fire

A late-afternoon three-alarm fire at a home on Lexington Avenue in Poughkeepsie has resulted in several injuries, according to authorities.

A mother and son, who escaped from the second floor, suffered burn and trauma injuries and were airlifted to Westchester Medical Center, according to the Poughkeepsie Journal.

The blaze left 15 people displaced and gutted the house, the report said.
