SOUTHEAST, N.Y. -- One person was killed and two others were able to safely escape in an early Wednesday morning house fire on 2 Maple Lane in Southeast, according to lohud.com.
The fire began at around 4 a.m. Wednesday at the corner of Route 121.
The fire was brought under control by the Brewster Fire Department, Croton Falls Fire Department, Danbury Fire Department, Carmel Fire Department, Lake Carmel Fire Department and the Putnam Lake Fire Department.
The identity of the person killed has not been released.
