Police Investigating After Man's Body Is Found In Peekskill Creek

PEEKSKILL, N.Y . -- Peekskill Police are investigating after a man's body was found in a creek on Park Street on Tuesday morning.

Police received a call at 10:45 a.m. after a passerby saw a body in a creek on the 1300 block of Park Street, according to Lt. John White.

Police, along with the medical examiner and a district attorney went to the scene and found a middle-aged Hispanic male, according to White.

White said there were no obvious signs of trauma and police are working to identify the victim.
