Police: Law Enforcement Agencies Bust Hudson Valley Man With Crack, Cocaine

DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. - A joint operation between several law enforcement agencies led to the bust of a a Dutchess County man in possession of various drugs and drug paraphernalia.

Members of the New York State Police Community Narcotics Team, in conjunction with the City of Poughkeepsie Police Neighborhood Recovery Unit and the state police Special Operations Response Team executed a warrant on Noxon Street in Poughkeepsie.

The warrant resulted in the arrest of 24-year-old Rahmel Prince Ali Garraway, who was in possession of more than an ounce of cocaine, crack cocaine, paraphernalia and $1,800 in cash.

Garraway was arrested and charged with felony counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance. He was arraigned in the City of Poughkeepsie Justice Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $75,000 cash bail or $150,000 bond.
