Police: Woman With Open Vodka Bottle At Route 52 Station Charged With DWI

PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -  A woman was arrested for DWI by Kent Police on June 2 after Speedway employees called the police to reported she was acting disoriented.

Laurianna Fortner, 47, of Greenwich, Conn., was arrested after Officers Darren Cea and Angela Rivera responded and found Fortner acting strangely with an open bottle of vodka on the front passenger seat, said Kent Police Chief Alex DiVernieri.

Fortner was charged with DWI and released on $95 bail. She is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
