Arnold J. Falgiano Jr., 32, was arrested Wednesday following an investigation into the theft at the store at 635 Dutchess Turnpike, said Capt. Kevin Faber.
According to Faber, Falgiano was identified through store video surveillance after taking the wallet from a store counter.
Falgiano was charged with felony grand larceny and is being held at the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash bail or $40,000 bond.
