Woman, 27, Charged With DWI In Patterson

PATTERSON, N.Y. -- The Putnam County Sheriff's Department charged a Connecticut woman with driving while intoxicated in Patterson on Saturday, July 26, officials said.

Melissa Ann Burke, 27, was pulled over for an alleged traffic violation. Burke was suspected of being intoxicated and allegedly failed subsequent field sobriety tests, according to the Sheriff's Department.

Burke was arrested, processed and released to her parents, authorities said.
