Jennifer Muehlfeld, who was stopped at 8:30 p.m. by Environmental Conservation Police, did not have a Safe Boating Certificate and did not have the proper floatation devices onboard, the News-Times said.
When a Candlewood Lake Authority Marine Patrol took Muelfeld to shore for sobriety tests, she began punching and kicking a picnic table and power transformer, the News-Times said.
Muehlfeld was charged with boating under the influence, breach of peace, failure to display navigation lights, operation of a vessel without a safe boating certificate and insufficient personal floatation devices, the News-Times said. She was released on $1,000 bond for an Aug. 18 court date in Danbury.
