Putnam DA Levy's Deposition Reveals New Details In Defamation Suit

PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. – Putnam County District Attorney Adam Levy’s deposition regarding his defamation lawsuit against Sheriff Don Smith gives new insight into Levy’s ties to Alexandru Hossu and Levy’s relationship with Smith, reports The Examiner.

The more than 400-page deposition states Levy called the investigation regarding rape charges against Hossu “sloppy,” provides exact dollar amounts that Levy contributed to Hossu’s legal fund and states that Levy became friends with Hossu when the two men met after Levy hired Hossu as a personal trainer according to the report.
