PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- Sheila Astorino, the wife of Republican gubernatorial hopeful Rob Astorino, is featured in a new commercial calling out Gov. Andrew Cuomo for his negative attacks on her husband, according to nystateofpolitics.com.

Sheila Astorino takes Cuomo to task specifically for his recent ad saying the Westchester County Executive supports gun programs in schools. Sheila Astorino points out that the program in question was an extracurricular rifle safety program in a rural upstate county, nystateofpolitics.com reported.

Sheila Astorino, who is a teacher, says the governor has "gone too far," nystateofpolitics.com said.
