This year’s forum will focus on the budget process. Participants will receive current estimates of a “roll-over” budget and budgetary challenges faced by the district, such as the state tax levy cap, state-imposed Gap Elimination Adjustments, unfunded and underfunded mandates, and employee benefits, among other challenges.

Community input will help guide the district in preparation for the 2015-16 budget. The forum is open to the public and will be conducted in small group, roundtable format. Register as soon as possible by downloading the registration forms here, calling Sue Dieck at the district office 845-878-2094, ext. 202, or emailing her at sdieck@carmelschools.org
