Mahopac Teachers Union Gets New Contract

MAHOPAC, N.Y. -- The Mahopac Board of Education passed a new deal for the Teacher's Union during a meeting on Wednesday, according to the Putnam Examiner.

The new deal retains step increases for teacher salaries as well as 15 percent teacher contribution for healthcare. The contract will run through June 2018, the Putnam Examiner reported.
