BREWSTER, N.Y. – An administrator with more than a decade of service to the school has taken the reigns at Henry H. Wells Middle School, according to a social media post from the district.
John Clark was officially appointed principal of the middle school during an Oct. 18 Board of Education meeting, according to the district.
Clark, who began his career at Wells as an English teacher in 2001, went on to serve as dean of students, according to the district, which said that he last year was named assistant principal.
Clark steps into his new position while enrolled in a doctoral program at Manhattanville College, according to the district.
“(John) is an outstanding professional and will complement the fabulous educators at the H.H. Wells Middle School,” said Brewster Superintendent of Schools Valerie Henning-Piedmonte while offering her congratulations.
