Isabella Segall, a junior at Wilton High School, organized the rally at Ballard Park. She spread word of the event through Facebook and Twitter, which can be accessed by clicking here.

Working together with the nonprofit organization CT Against Gun Violence, Segall said teens need to take action.

"We need to, you know, start talking to people and just right now get awareness out," she said. "I feel like there's so many teenagers like me who are so oblivious."

Segall says she was overwhelmed by the support she got Wednesday and is organizing future meetings.
