A resident of Rhinebeck, Strefeneder, the owner of Body Be Well Pilates, has two studios located in Red Hook and Catskill and is a certified Pilates teacher. She has worked with celebrities, athletes, and dancers, and people from all walks of life and in various states of physical health over nearly a decade in the field.

The entrepreneur founded Body Be Well eight years ago and offers a wide range of options for followers; in addition to the online workout series, Streifeneder heads up pilates programs for cancer patients and for pregnant women and offers and a number of signature classes designed to support people at all ages and fitness stages.

“Inspired by the fact that Pilates transformed my own body and spirit when I was first introduced to the practice, I am passionate about sharing it with others," she said. "I am not trying to get clients to fit into a size 'zero,' but working to motivate and strengthen them mentally, physically, and emotionally so that they can live balanced, healthy, joyful lives.

The series, which can be downloaded by students from anywhere in the world, includes five video sessions: Abliterating Pilates Core, Pilates Arm Plan with Hand Weights, Body Be Strong, Stand Tall and Be Toned, and Whole Back, Booty, Band Workout. All five cost $35.

“Pilates can do more than people realize. Not only does it strengthen your core and tone your body, helping posture and making students feel leaner, stronger, and healthier, but it promotes self-confidence as well," says Streifeneder, who has spoken at Omega Institute for Holistic Studies in Rhinebeck, has been on the cover of Pilates Style magazine, serves as an expert contributor for Living Rhinebeck magazine, and writes for Prevention.

The online series allows people to download a pilates session from any device, no matter where they live or work. Each workout takes less than 30 minutes.

"It’s easy to make excuses to not work out - we all do - but everyone deserves a little ‘me time’ - and the online workout series makes that possible," she added.
