Katonah Library Celebrating Women's Sufferage Centennial With Photo Gallery KATONAH, N.Y. -- To celebrate the 100th anniversary of when women were granted the right to vote across the country, the Katonah Village Library announced that it will host a photo gallery. The gallery, which will run in March, is called "Votes for Women: Celebrating New York’s Suffrage Centennial." 'Abraham Lincoln' Visits Katonah-Lewisboro Schools LEWISBORO, N.Y. -- Students at two of Katonah-Lewisboro's elementary schools got visits from Abraham Lincoln reenactor Lou Del Bianco this past week, according to Putnam/Northern Westchester BOCES, which arrange the trips through its Arts in Education program. Kids' Day Returning To Putnam Hospital Center After Hiatus CARMEL, N.Y. -- Putnam Hospital Center announced that it is bringing back Kids' Day following a two-year hiatus. Byram Hills' Bobcat TV Adds Online Livestreaming ARMONK, N.Y. -- Bobcat TV, the television channel for Byram Hills High School, announced that it will offer online livestreaming The first broadcast, Bobcat TV announced in a Facebook page, will be on Saturday, Feb. 17 during a playoff game for the varsity boys basketball team. The offering of livestreaming is the latest milestone in its roughly 12-year history. In the post, Bobcat TV notes that its first broadcast was in 2005, its website was launched in 2008 and its content was made accessible on smartphones in 2014. Chappaqua Central Schools Names New Athletic Director CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- The Chappaqua Central School District announced that Jason Semo has been named as its new athletic director. The school board voted this week to appoint Semo, whose employment officially starts on July 1, which is the official beginning of the 2017-18 school year.
