Pequenakonck Elementary Starts 'MakerFaire' For Students' Projects NORTH SALEM, N.Y. -- Pequenakonck Elementary School announced that it will hold its inaugural "MakerFaire," which will showcase its students' technology projects. The MakerFaire will include projects in engineering, 3D printing, robots and circuits, among others. Participating students are in second through fifth grades. All Traffic Now Banned On I-84, Cuomo Says Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced that Interstate 84 is being closed to all traffic due to heavy snowfall. The travel ban became effective at 1 p.m. on Tuesday. The entire New York stretch of I-84, which runs from the border with Pennsylvania to the border with Connecticut, is affected, Cuomo's office added. There are some exceptions to the ban, as Cuomo's office said that "only emergency personnel, first responders, and other critical healthcare personnel will be permitted on the roadway."
