GARRISON, N.Y. -- Garrison resident Louie Lanza, the dynamo behind the Hudson Hospitality Group , has opened Fin & Brew in Peekskill.

The New American eatery, with a high-end focus on comfort food and small plates, opened quietly on Friday Nov. 3. Among the items on the menu: wild striped bass, Ora king salmon, charred octopus, beer-steamed mussels, and a selection of East and West Coast oysters.

The restaurant is a partnership with Lanza, John Sharp (of Peekskill's Gleasons and Birdsall House) and Scott Vaccaro (founder/owner of Captain Lawrence Brewing Company in Elmsford).

It's located inside Factoria , Westchester's new entertainment/events waterfront property, which also houses River Outpost Brewing (open but not yet brewing) and Spins Hudson .

Lanza, the owner of Lanza Farms in Garrison, is also behind Peekskill's Taco Dive Bar, The Hudson Room, Buns-n-Bourbon and The Eagle Saloon. HIs Hudson Hospital Group is committed to making downtown Peekskill a vibrant, entertaining and artsy destination.

Finn & Brew is open Thursday to Sunday starting at 5 p.m, and is located at 5 John Walsh Blvd., 914- 788-4555.
