Jesmar Velazquez Arrested At Stamford Courthouse: Police
A Connecticut man was arrested at a courthouse after a narcotics investigation led police to search his home, vehicle, and person, where investigators said they found cocaine, a firearm, cash, and drug packaging materials.
Jesmar Velazquez, 37, was taken into custody Thursday, June 25, by the Norwalk police, with help from the Tactical Response Team, at Stamford Superior Courthouse. Police said he was there for an unrelated court matter.

Lionel Richie, 77, cut short the first show of his tour with Earth, Wind & Fire in St. Paul, Minnesota, on Wednesday, June 24, after saying he felt dizzy.

David Clayton-Thomas, the lead singer of Blood, Sweat & Tears, died Wednesday, June 24, at age 84, according to multiple reports.

Thornton Wilder’s "The Matchmaker" closes its Westport Community Theatre run this weekend with three remaining performances.
