Rodriguez, who holds a degree in Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts in New York City, has curated more than 30 exhibitions in the Hudson Valley area while working at the Front Street Gallery for the past three years, according to the statement.
She has taught in painting and jewelry workshops in New York and Hawaii and has had her award-winning work exhibited in multiple galleries.
Her gallery, a collection of works called "Windows of My Soul," is partially inspired by nature, her travels and her volunteer efforts, according to the statement. The works are to be displayed at the Studio Around the Corner, 67 Main St., Suite 101 beginning in July.
An opening reception for the exhibit is scheduled from 7-9 p.m. on Saturday, July 9. Additional hours include noon – 2 p.m. on Saturdays in July and August and on Sunday, August 28.
