Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival Stages 'The Tempest' In Peekskill

PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- The Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival brings "The Tempest" to the Paramount Hudson Valley Theater.

The show will be 3 p.m. on Sunday, at The Paramount Hudson Valley Theater, 1008 Brown St.

"The Tempest," will feature the HVSF Conservatory Company.

The show is a 90-minute version of William Shakespeare's tale of a magical island full of monsters and fairies. When a storm washes his royal enemies ashore, Prospero has a chance to take his revenge - or will he conjure a happy ending instead? 

Tickets cost $25.

The show is directed by Jim Calder; costume design is by Keira McGee; lighting design is by Elizabeth Farrell and sound design is by Justin Propper
