Kent Library Goes Full Steam Ahead With Storytime

KENT LAKES, N.Y. -- The Kent Public Llibrary will kick off its Full STEAM Ahead! Storytime program, on Wednesday, May 18.

This family storytime program, which will run weekly for six weeks, is for children ages 3 - 5 with a little extra STEAM added. STEAM stands for is science, technology, engineering, arts and math.

Children will participate in an easy and age-appropriate art activity and some science exploration after a typical storytime.

Registration is required and will begin on Monday, May 2, at 10 a.m.; spots will fill quickly. Click here to register or call the library at 845-225-8585.

This is an extremely sensory-based storytime. Participants should come dressed for mess.

The program will be from 3 - 3:45 p.m.

The library is at 17 Sybil's Crossing, Kent Lakes.
