Dabrowski is a house painter by trade, but defines himself as an artist as well. His admiration for Malcolm X, Jimi Hendrix, and William Shakespeare has played a major role in his artistic journey. His paintings are influenced by the subway graffiti of 1970’s in New York City, as well as the handball courts along the West Side highway. Dabrowski's work is also inspired by the inmates at Greenhaven Prison where for the past 11 years he has volunteered in the Alternative to Violence project.

Dabrowski's work hangs in private collections and has also been featured in the Studio's Artists In Residence space. His work can be found on Facebook under Ed Dabrowski Graffiti. This is Dabrowski's second solo exhibit at Studio Around the Corner. Studio Hours are from 12 to 2 p.m. on Saturdays in June as well as Sunday, June 26. Studio Around the Corner is located at Old Town Hall 67 Main St. Suite 101 in Brewster.
