Tivoli Artists Gallery Exhibit Celebrates Village

TIVOLI, N.Y. -- The Tivoli Artists Gallery will kick off its new exhibit, the second annual "Tivoli People and Place," on Friday in Tivoli.

The exhibit will run through Sunday, Sept. 18, with a gallery reception on Saturday, Sept. 3, from 6 - 8 p.m. It will feature a collection of original paintings and photographs celebrating Tivoli and its people in images.

The curators for the exhibit are Dana Matthews, Pamela Tucker and Julia Aneshansley.

The Tivoli Artists Gallery is a group of Hudson Valley artists whose membership includes painters, sculptors, jewelers, photographers, potters, illustrators, performance artists, digital artists and animators.

The gallery has built a reputation for excellence and enjoys recognition for its stimulating exhibits and unique events, according to a release from the Tivoli Artists Gallery.

Each year, the gallery attracts approximately 3,500 visitors from the Hudson Valley, nearby Berkshires and New York City.
