CARMEL, N.Y. -- Any way you flip it, the burger is one of America’s favorite foods.

What Makes It Patty Perfect: Healy’s , a 2015 DVlicious "Best Burger" winner, offers a baker’s dozen of burgers, but the most popular are its 10-ounce Big Boy Burger (topped with American, Muenster and Swiss cheese, caramelized onions, cole slaw and bacon) and the Grilled Cheeseburger (classic burger wedged between two grilled cheese sandwiches). 

Other interesting takes on America’s favorite fast food are its Hawaiian burger, made with grilled pineapple and ham and topped with spicy pineapple barbecue sauce, and the Shroom, a burger served between two grilled portabella mushrooms. Owners Ryan and Tim Healy say their family restaurant makes sure everything is fresh and of high quality. On Mondays, Healy's offers specials on its burgers, some of which are half price.
