Putnam Arts Council Announces Open Call For Artwork

MAHOPAC, N.Y. -- A new exhibit with the theme "Anything Goes" is coming to The Putnam Arts Council from Sept. 10-25 with an opening reception on Saturday, Sept. 10 from 2 to 4 p.m.

As part of this program, The Putnam Arts Council has announced an open call for submissions in all media. Submissions of wall-ready, two dimensional art must not exceed five by seven inches, framed or unframed, and three dimensional art must not exceed seven inches squared.

The entry fee for up to three works is $20 for members and $25 for non-members. Artists can join or renew at drop off. Hand Delivery to Putnam Arts Council at 521 Kennicut Hill Road in Mahopac can be done on Sunday, Aug. 28, from 12 to 4 p.m. or Tuesday, Sept. 6, from 3 to 6 p.m.

PAC accepts a 35 percent commission on all sales. Exhibit prospectus is available online or by calling (845)-803-8622.
