The Chophouse Grille in Mahopac is the winner of our DVlicious "Best Steakhouse in Putnam County" contest, with 49 percent of the vote.

The restaurant, in business since 2012, is known for its aged, hand-carved steak and chops. Owners David Gallo and Toni Vulaj say their professionalism, gleaned from more than 25 years in the food-service industry, “rivals” any steakhouse found in New York City.
