Plane Crash: Police ID 2 Victims Killed In Massachusetts Aviation Disaster
Authorities have identified the two people who were killed when the training aircraft they were on crashed into a wooded area in Massachusetts over the weekend. Kenneth R. Moore, 66, of Pembroke, and Marcy Asbury, 62, of East Falmouth, died in the Saturday, Sept. 5, crash, Hampden District Attorney Anthony D. Gulluni announced on Thursday. The Piper PA-28 Cherokee went down near Center Street around 9:15 p.m. Ludlow police and Massachusetts State Police began searching the area after receiving a report of a missing aircraft. A Massachusetts middle school vice principal was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated for the third time, authorities said. Holly Burns, vice principal at Dennis-Yarmouth Middle School in Yarmouth on Cape Cod, was arrested by Boston Police on Aug. 9 near South and Beach streets downtown, court records reviewed by the Cape Cod Times reported.
