Goldens Bridge FD Welcomes New Rescue Vehicle It didn't take long for the Golden Bridges Fire Department to put their new 2016 Spartan ERV Rescue Engine 138 to use after taking delivery on Monday, July 24.The new engine, which replaces one damaged in a firehouse fire, was called into action within just a few days when a resident let firefighters know a large tree was blocking Tood Road North in Lewisboro. Engine 138's crew loaded up and went to check on the report and sure enough, there was a very large tree blocking the roadway. Yorktown Community Rallies Behind Family After Mom, 49, Dies While Hiking The Yorktown community has come together to support the family of Tracey Doerr Lister, who died Monday from complications of heat stroke while hiking with her boys at Black Canyon National Park in Colorado. Lister, who grew up in Yorktown and was living in Colorado, was 49 years old and would have celebrated her birthday Friday, July 14. Lister was hiking with her 16- and 20-year-old sons when she collapsed on the trail, according to the National Park Service.
