Carmel Online Singing Star Signs Record Deal

CARMEL, N.Y. -- Hailey Knox may not yet be a household name, but the Carmel teen already has a huge following on YouTube, where performances have been seen by tens of thousands of fans, according to the Examiner News.

Carmel teen Hailey Knox has just signed a recording contract after gathering thousands of followers on YouTube.

The 17-year-old has more than 7,600 subscribers to her YouTube channel, where she has posted covers of songs by Adele, the Weekend and more, said the Examiner News.

The aspiring pop singer just signed a recording deal with S-Curve, a recording label best known for being the home of top 40 artists, added the news source.
