Where's The Bear? Bruin In Yorktown On Run, Spotted Near Restaurant

A bear making the rounds in Northern Westchester has left his perch in a tree and is on the run.

A reader said she just saw the bear on Route 118/129 near Jennifer's Restaurant.

Yorktown Police said the bear was first spotted around noon up a tree on Hanover Street in Yorktown.

 Residents are urged to use caution when outdoors in the area. Do not approach the bear if sighted.
