A man admitted to striking and killing a pedestrian, dragging her body off the road, and fleeing the scene without calling for help in New York, prosecutors announced on Tuesday, June 16.
Lan Huynh Truong, 45, of Selden, pleaded guilty on Monday, June 15, to Leaving the Scene of an Incident Without Reporting Resulting in Death and Operating a Motor Vehicle Without a License in the death of Victoria "Vicky" Hutson, 37, also of Selden, according to Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond Tierney.

A woman who works at an assisted living facility in Westchester County has been accused of stealing credit cards from residents and using them to make purchases, police said.
