Man Found Dead In Creek In Dutchess County (Developing) Police are investigating the death of a man found in a creek in Dutchess County.  The incident began at around 4:20 p.m. on Sunday, July 12, when troopers responded to the area of Pleasant Valley Memorial Park for a suspicious activity report, New York State Police said on Monday, July 13. There, arriving troopers found a dead man in Wappinger Creek. Police said there are no current indications of criminality.  The man's name was not released pending notification of his family.  Police said the investigation is ongoing.
