A rare marble bust found left outside in a British garden designed by renowned artists from Massachusetts more than 170 years ago failed to sell at auction, the BBC reported. Chorley’s Auctioneers offered the 1854 sculpture for sale in Gloucester on Tuesday, Sept. 15. It was expected to bring $24,000 (£18,000), but no one bought it. New Atlantic Tropical Storm Forms: What Fay’s Forecast Shows
A new named storm has emerged in the Atlantic. The National Hurricane Center said Sunday, Sept. 20, that Tropical Storm Fay formed in the northern Atlantic Ocean about 450 miles southwest of the Azores. Fay had maximum sustained winds of 45 mph and was moving north-northeast at 5 mph. No coastal watches or warnings were in effect. The storm is the sixth named system of the 2026 Atlantic hurricane season. Fay could gain a little strength during the next day or so. A pre-teen’s disclosure to a classmate and teacher helped uncover a child rape case that sent a man to prison, Pennsylvania Attorney General Dave Sunday announced Sunday, Sept. 14. Elias Dominguez was sentenced to 21¾ to 43½ years in prison after his conviction last year for rape and related offenses involving an 11-year-old child, the attorney general said.
