In suburban Chicago, Corie A. Walsh, 40, of Frankfort, Illinois, is accused of strangling her 2-year-old son, Barrett, on Tuesday, Sept. 1, according to prosecutors. Will County Sheriff’s Office records show that she faces three counts of first-degree murder.

Barn Roof Hurled Through Graveyard As NWS Confirms 3 More PA Tornadoes
Three more tornadoes ripped through four Pennsylvania counties less than two weeks after four twisters battered York and Lancaster counties, the National Weather Service confirmed on Friday, Sept. 4.
All three tornadoes from the Tuesday, Sept. 1 storms were rated EF1. They carved a combined 8.45-mile path through Potter, Tioga, Montour, and Lancaster counties, according to the NWS.
No injuries or deaths were reported.
