ID Released For Woman Who Died After Jumping From Bridge In Hudson Valley
A woman who jumped to her death from a Hudson Valley bridge has been identified by police. Dutchess County resident Dawn Stackhouse, age 52, of Beekman, jumped from the Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge in Rhinebeck, on Monday, April 1. According to Trooper AJ Hicks of the New York State Police, an investigation determined Stackhouse jumped from the bridge around 9:50 a.m. Good Samaritans fishing near the bridge removed her from the water and attempted life-saving measures, Hicks said. She was transported to a local area hospital where she was pronounced dead. This investigation remains ongoing.…

Seen Him? State Police Asking Public For Help Finding Hudson Valley Man
The New York State Police are asking for the public's help in locating a missing Hudson Valley man who hasn't been since Sunday, March 24. Nicolas Faust, age 43, formerly of Ulster County in Marlborough, and Westchester County in Peekskill, was reported missing by his family, said Trooper AJ Hicks of the New York State Police. Faust was last seen by friends in the Mill Street area of Poughkeepsie on Sunday, March 24 around 2 a.m. He is described as being 5-foot-9, 175 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. Police To Conduct Exercise At School In Cold Spring
Authorities are asking parents to avoid a Hudson Valley school during an upcoming scheduled exercise involving police and firefighters. The exercise will be held in Putnam County on Tuesday, April 9 at Haldane Elementary School in Cold Spring, the Putnam County Sheriff's Office announced on Monday, April 1. Two Hudson Valley men were found stabbed to death after police received a call for help. The incident occurred in Orange County on Monday, April 1 in the area of 33 Ruth Court in Middletown. According to Chief John Ewanciw of the Middletown Police, responding detectives found two men who had been stabbed multiple times. A 34-year-old man is fighting for his life after being shot on a Hudson Valley street. The incident occurred in Dutchess County around 4:30 a.m., Saturday, March 30 in the 400 block of Main Street in the City of Poughkeepsie. Smoke Sighting Prompts Emergency Response At Shopping Center In Somers
Fire crews responded to a busy shopping center in Northern Westchester after receiving reports of smoke pouring from the building's roof. The incident happened on Wednesday, March 27 just after 7 p.m., when crews from the Somers Volunteer Fire Department responded to the Towne Centre At Somers shopping mall for reports of smoke coming from the roof.
