Old Route 22 Closed Following Crash, Downed Wires

Old Route 22 in Dover Plains is closed to traffic after a vehicle crashed into a utility pole, causing power lines to drape near the roadway, said New York State Police.

According to Trooper AJ Hicks, the crash took place around 2:24 p.m. Monday at 148 Old Route 22.

Currently, traffic is being detoured to Cricket Hill until NYSEG can repair wires.

No serious injuries were reported, he said.
