One person was killed and another injured early Monday morning in a head-on crash that led to the hours-long closure of a stretch of Route 22 in Putnam County.
The crash occurred just before 7 a.m. between Route 311 and Thunder Ridge Road.
Route 22 reopened at around 10:45 a.m.
