Putnam Resident Among 31 Charged In Dutchess DWI Detail

The campaign, which ran between Aug. 18 and Sept. 4, included officers from the the sheriff's office, the New York State Police, the City of Poughkeepsie Police Department, the Town of Poughkeepsie Police Department, the Town of Hyde Park Police Department, the Town of East Fishkill Police Department and the Village of Red Hook Police Department.

In all 32 arrests were made, with 31 impaired-driving related, said Lt. Frank LaMonica Jr.

The stepped-up details were funded by the Governor's Traffic Safety Committee and the NYS STOP-DWI Foundation, with the objective to revitalize and enhance the visibility of the STOP-DWI Program.

 “Local law enforcement ramped up efforts over the Labor Day Crackdown resulting once again in an eye opening number of impaired driving arrests," said Dutchess County STOP-DWI Coordinator William C. Johnson. "The 'Drive Sober or get pulled over' campaign is a clear reminder that it is everyone’s responsibility to refrain from impaired driving or face the consequences.”

Those arrested included: 

• Justin Sweeney, 19, of Poughkeepsie, DWI, BAC .08% or more and unlawful possession of marijuana in the Town of Poughkeepsie.
• Jamie Rosa, 30, (no address) felony DWI in the Town of Poughkeepsie. 
• Ranisha Johnson, 26, of Poughkeepsie, DWI & BAC .08% or more in the City of Poughkeepsie.
• L Holloway-Rivera, 43, of Poughkeepsie, DWI & Aggravated DWI (BAC .18% or more) in the City of Poughkeepsie.
• Scott Vanosten, 32, of Poughkeepsie, DWI & Aggravated DWI (BAC .18% or more) in the Town of Poughkeepsie.
• Tracy Dumigan, 30, of Kingston, DWI & BAC .08% or more after being involved in a property damage auto crash in the Town of Union Vale.
• Jonathan Miller, 20, of Poughkeepsie, DWAI after being involved in a property damage auto crash in the Town of Wappinger.
• Hermilo Barrera-Quintero, 26, of Red Hook,  DWI & BAC .08% or more in the Town of Rhinebeck.
• Shawn Constable, 31, of Saratoga Springs, DWI & BAC.08% or more in the Town of Poughkeepsie.
• David Erkinger, 43, of Poughkeepsie, DWI & BAC .08% or more in the Town of Poughkeepsie.
• Rolando Lorenzo-Mendoza, 29, of Poughkeepsie was charged with DWI & Aggravated DWI (BAC .18% or more) in the Town of Poughkeepsie.
• Kapur Amit, 38, of Fishkill, DWI & BAC .08% or more in the Town of Wappinger.
• Erving Lopez-Gonzales, 38, of Poughkeepsie, DWI, BAC .08% or more and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the City of Poughkeepsie.
• Karen Gundelach, 33, of Pawling, DWAI in the Town of Pawling.
• Reyes Galindo-Paulino, 22, of Germantown, DWI & BAC .08% or more after being involved in a property damage auto crash in the Town of Rhinebeck.
• Mardoque Salazar, 39, of Patterson, DWI & Aggravated DWI BAC .18% or more after being involved in a property damage auto crash in the Village of Pawling.
• Madeline Miller, 20, of Amenia, criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of Marijuana in the Town of Washington.
• Jessica Nowak, 37, of Hamden, Conn., DWI, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle & resisting arrest after being involved in a property damage auto crash in the Town of North East.
• Fadi Tawrdous, 30, of Poughkeepsie, DWAI Drugs in the Town of Poughkeepsie.
• Eleanor Davis, 56, of Red Hook, DWI & BAC .08% or more in the Town of Red Hook.
• Johan Kreps, 33, of Red Hook, DWI & Aggravated DWI BAC .18% or more in the Town of Red Hook.
• Ann Reilly, 51, of Mohegan Lake, DWI & BAC .08% or more in the Town of Red Hook.
• Sofia Marques, 32, of Bridgeville, Pa., DWI & BAC .08% or more in the Town of Red Hook.
• Luis Olmos-Hernandez, 21, of Wappingers Falls, DWI & BAC .08% or more in the City of Poughkeepsie.
• Edward Sheppard, 56,  of Poughkeepsie, DWI & BAC .08% or more both felonies in the City of Poughkeepsie.
• Kyle Milton, 26, of Poughkeepsie, DWI & BAC .08% or more both felonies in the City of Poughkeepsie.
• Maldonado Lopez-Cruz, 34, of Poughkeepsie, DWI & BAC .08% or more both felonies in the City of Poughkeepsie.
• Stephanie Matthews, 26, of Buchanan, DWI & BAC .08% or more.
• Josue Feliciano, 26, of Poughkeepsie, DWI & BAC .08%  or more.
• Jason Lyons, 36, of Poughkeepsie, DWI & BAC .08% or more.
• Angela Demonia, 40, of Poughkeepsie, DWI.
