Troopers responded to the call for a burglary in progress on Saturday on Undermountain Road, state police said.
Once on scene, troopers saw two suspects, Paul Reed and Stephanie Baker-Papierowicz, inside the building and could hear loud banging, state police said.
Both were seen exiting the building and were held as troopers checked the inside and discovered a side entrance window had been broken to gain entry.
There was damage throughout the building, including intentional water damage from clogging drains and running water, to hardwood floors and carving of letters into various walls on the first level, state police said.
Both suspects were arrested and charged with burglary and are being held in the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $2500 cash bail or $5000 bond.
