Wanted Mahopac Woman, 21, Arrested By State Police

MAHOPAC, N.Y. -- A Mahopac woman, wanted by several police departments on drug and other charges, has been arrested, says Putnam County Sheriff Donald B. Smith.

Deputies from the Putnam County Sheriff's Department have arrested a Mahopac woman wanted in several jurisdictions for criminal mischief and drug possession.

Celina Savoca, 21, was spotted by sheriff’s deputies at a shopping center in Mahopac on Thursday, March 3, and taken into custody, Smith said.

Savoca was wanted by local authorities in Yorktown, Brewster and Poughkeepsie, and by state police based in Cortlandt, on charges of criminal mischief and criminal possession of a controlled substance, the sheriff said.

After processing, she was turned over to Yorktown police, Smith said.
