Nathan Green, 31, and Jamie Green, 45, both of Wappingers Falls, were busted Tuesday when an officer on routine patrol in the area of the Salt Point Turnpike and Innis Avenue spotted them parked vehicle in an area known for illegal drug use, Town of Poughkeepsie Police said.
The officer approached the vehicle on foot and saw the two using illegal drugs, police said.
Police said a follow-up investigation revealed the drug to be cocaine.
Both were taken into custody and charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail on $20,000 cash/ $40,000 bond.
They are scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.
