A woman arrested for violation of probation was charged a second time after jail officials uncovered hidden heroin and cocaine during her intake, according to Putnam County Sheriff Robert L. Langley Jr.
Lisa M. Bianco, 39, of the Bronx was charged on Friday, Jan. 5, with two counts of promoting prison contraband and two counts criminal possession of a controlled substance, while being committed to the Putnam County Correctional Facility, said Capt. Lisa Ortolano.
During intake procedures, correction officers searched Bianco and found a quantity of heroin and cocaine, Ortolano said.
Bianco was arraigned before Judge Joseph J. Spofford, Jr. of the Town of Carmel Justice Court and remanded to the Putnam County Correctional facility, in lieu of $25,000 cash/$50,000 bond, pending a future court date.
