The March 4 event, hosted by the school's SALTY Hands Club, featured performances from contestants, and judging in four categories: formal wear, questions, hidden talent and group dance. The winner was chosen by combination of performance plus how much money they raised.

Matthew Catalano was crowned this year's Mr. Brewster. The top three contestants, Catalano along with Cameron Dyas and Nick Panucci, each raised more than $4,000, officials said.

The mission of the BHS SALTY Hands Club is to raise awareness and money to find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis. SALTY stands for "Save A Life of Today’s Youth."

The next major event is June 5 with the CF Great Strides Walk at Putnam County Veterans Memorial Park.
