Principal Christopher Walsh called police after being concerned that two students were smoking marijuana in the woods, according to police.

A student was taken from the school by police, who have not released any information on whether the student was arrested or charged with any crime, according to Superintendent Bill Donahue. The second student was not taken away by police.

"If we suspect a student is breaking the law, we call the police," Donahue said. "Police should make the decision on whether a law has been broken. If there is anything involving drugs or alcohol on campus, we always call the police."

Donahue said the student taken away by police will be disciplined and is required to have counseling with a certified substance abuse counselor. Donahue said there were no hard drugs and no one was dealing drugs.
