The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services issued an alert this week to Westchester residents regarding the residency of 33-year-old Steven Cilento, who has reported a move to a residence on Depew Street in Peekskill.

The Division of Criminal Justice Services has assigned Cilento as a level two threat, which means he is at "moderate risk of a repeat offense."

According to the Division of Criminal Justice Services, Cilento had deviate sexual intercourse with his 15-year-old victim in February 2003 in Putnam. He was convicted of third-degree sexual assault for subjecting another person to having sex without consent and sentenced to three years probation.

Cilento was previously arrested for damaging a New York State Police cruiser, using a fence post to menace a neighbor, burglary, and trespassing.

Cilento is now under the jurisdiction of the Peekskill City Police Department.
