But dozens of unsuspecting Marylanders never made it home without being ambushed, beaten, threatened, or shot at by two organized crews who police say terrorized neighborhoods for nearly a year in a violent $155,000 “bank jugging” spree.
Now, seven men are facing a mountain of charges, including gang activity, armed carjacking, armed robbery, assault, firearms violations, and even attempted murder, Maryland Attorney General Anthony Brown announced Friday, May 9.

A deputy sheriff in Maryland is facing disturbing charges for allegedly abusing a child nearly a decade ago in Anne Arundel County, police announced.
Anthony Nickoles, 42, of Pasadena, was taken into custody on Wednesday, March 26, in Annapolis, following an investigation by the Anne Arundel County Police Department’s Child and Vulnerable Adult Abuse Unit.
