Route 82 Closure Scheduled For Community Day In East Fishkill

Route 82 will be temporarily closed for a short stretch on Saturday as the Town of East Fishkill prepares for Community Day parade.

Each year, the Town of East Fishkill hosts a Community Day for local residents, complete with a parade, vendors, live music, classic car shows and other events geared toward families.

This year, Route 82 will be closed from 2 to 2:30 p.m. between Trinka Lane and Church Street as the parade makes its way through the area. The parade is scheduled to kick off at 2 p.m and the Community Day event is scheduled from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Motorists have been advised to seek alternate routes on Saturday, if possible.
